BEFORE SUBMITTING ARTWORK
PLEASE READ BELOW
To
insure the quality of your printed products
please read the following guidelines before sending
your artwork. If your artwork will not meet
these
guidelines consider having ADPOWER create professional
artwork from your ideas. Feel free to call
us or email at anytime with any questions.
Please be sure to include all linked graphic
files and fonts (or convert fonts to paths).
It is also important that all spot colors be
assigned their proper Pantone® Matching System
(PMS) or Adpower
Standard color
names and to include the finished print size
for
all files. PMS matched inks for silkscreening
require
additional costs.
VECTOR FILES
We accept the following vector files.
Illustrator (.ai)
Macromedia FreeHand (.FH10+)
Corel Draw (.cdr)
EPS (.eps)
RASTER FILES
All raster files must be sized to the final print
dimensions @ 300dpi.
We accept the following raster files.
PhotoShop (.psd in original layers)
TIFF (.tif)
EPS (.eps)
High Resolution JPEG (.jpg)
MULTIPLE PAGE FILES (MANUALS/BOOKLETS)
We prefer PDF files for any multiple page layouts.
We will also accept the following file types.
Indesign
Acrobat
CORRUPT FILE PREVENTION
Before submitting artwork to us it is best
to place all relevant files into one folder
and
then compress them using a compression
program (WinZip or StuffIt).
This will alleviate a common issue with the files getting stripped of
vital code that identifies them as valid TIFF's
or EPS's or whatever the original file types
may be. Without compressing your files, you run the risk of sending us
incomplete or “corrupted” digital files.
